The Spirit Among Us–A Group Spiritual Direction Experience

This is a 6-session group experience, and attendance at all sessions is required for the full experience.
Wednesday, January 10, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm, and at this same time on January 24, February 14, February 28, March 13, and March 27
In-person, Shalom Spirituality Center (in the instance of inclement weather, sessions will be held at the scheduled times via Zoom)

The ancient practice of Spiritual Direction invites us to explore a deeper and closer relationship with the Spirit and all that is sacred. This group experience will provide the unique opportunity to explore your own spiritual life and to learn to listen deeply as others share their spiritual questions and challenges. The group is open to persons from all denominations and welcomes images of God as they emerge and change. Following the classic tradition of the Desert Mothers and Fathers, the group will focus on self-discovery and defining Reality as paths to deepen the connections with self, others, and God. After registering, participants will receive a handout about spiritual direction and a covenant for the group process. Please note that this group program is an experience of Spiritual Direction but is not intended as training to confer credentials as a spiritual director.

Facilitator Rev. Dr. Jade Angelica received her training from The Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation and is certified as a spiritual direction supervisor. She has led spiritual direction groups for clergy, seminarians, and seekers of all levels since 2006. The cost is $150 for the entire session. Reserve your spot with a non-refundable $50 deposit (balance due by Wednesday, January 3); please register online or call Shalom to register by Wednesday, January 3. Space is limited!
