Sunday, September 15, 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Shalom Spirituality Center
The “Souposium” is a mini-symposium held over a light soup and bread meal, happening one Sunday each month from September through November – watch our schedule for dates.
Facilitated by Rick Mihm, the Souposiums will help us to address the strained (and sometimes broken) relationships in our world today. Whether it be relationships between friends, neighbors, family members, communities, or nations, almost everyone is feeling the effects of anger and division. Each Souposium session will focus on a particular protocol which can help to rebuild and strengthen the relationships in our lives.
The September Souposium will include guest presenter Marge Banse, a Spiritual Life Coach specializing in trauma recovery.
Since Shalom does not employ a dietician, and to best serve your dietary needs, please inform us of any diagnosed food allergies, including wheat and dairy (NOT food preferences), seven days in advance. If you have specific dietary needs, please contact Margie Gassman at 563-582-3592.
To accommodate vegetarian diets, fruits and vegetables are served with every meal. Food desired beyond a typical omnivore diet is the guest’s responsibility (including but not limited to gluten-free, pescatarian, vegan, or low-glycemic). Requests for diet preferences or changes made to the kitchen staff at the time of serving will not be honored unless arrangements have been made ahead of time.
Free-will donation; please RSVP online at shalomretreats.org or by calling 563.582.3592 by Thursday, September 12.
