March 8th is International Women’s Day, which is a perfect opportunity to learn about and celebrate the contributions of 4 very important women within the Catholic Church!

Colleen Pressprich is the author of The Women Doctors of the Church (2022), a beautifully illustrated children’s book which introduces details from the lives of Saint Hildegard of Bingen, Saint Teresa of ́Ávila, Saint Catherine of Siena, and Saint Thérèse of Lisieux. Out of all the many saints of the Catholic Church, only 37 have been declared Doctors of the Church. This title has nothing to do with medicine, but means that they contributed in a unique and vital way to the theology and moral life of the Church, through their writing, teaching, and speaking. Join Colleen for this presentation on the 4 women saints who are a part of this select group of 37 Doctors of the Church!

Colleen Pressprich is an author, a wife and mother, as well as a former missionary and Montessori teacher. She is also a Catholic blogger who focuses on sharing the faith with children.
