This coming new year marks Shalom Spirituality Center’s 35th anniversary year with several special events planned. Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.” The Hebrew word ‘SHALOM,’ which means peace, is found in scripture. Its meaning reflects the Shalom mission: to connect oneself more deeply with God through reconciliation and prayer, with others, through connection and communion, with creation, through harmony with all of God’s creatures, and within oneself, through meditation and contemplation. Shalom Spirituality Center continues to provide a peaceful, sacred environment calling all of God’s people to the fullness of life through retreats, programs, facility rentals for gatherings, and more.
All are welcome to attend Shalom’s 35th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, January 4th, beginning at 5:30 pm with Archbishop Zinkula as our guest of honor.
