The Psalms lead us to repentance, uplift our spirits, and turn our hearts toward God. This Lenten series invites participants to consider:
- Which Psalms remind us of the need for ongoing conversion of our own hearts and the world around us?
- Which Psalms remind us of God’s presence in the face of challenges?
- What Psalm might lead us to reflect on Jesus’ last days before his crucifixion?
It is easy to overlook the Psalms. Yet, the Book of Psalms provides us with opportunities to turn our hearts toward God every season. Join us this Lent in a journey of reflection upon key Lenten Psalms.
Sr. Sarah is a scripture scholar with a Ph.D. from Graduate Theological Union in Berkley and an MA from Catholic Theological Union.
Participants may attend all sessions or whichever individual sessions they choose.
$5 per person for each individual session; please register online at shalomretreats.org or by calling 563.582.3592 by noon on the day of the individual session which you wish to attend.
