Joy of Forgiveness with Sandy Hoenig

Forgiveness is a miracle of healing and personal empowerment that gives one emotional strength. The secret to a joyful life isn’t in what happens to you, but what you do as a result of what happens to you. The past might be a good place to visit, but can be a lousy place to live.

Come begin a “healing journey” through this practical mini-workshop. Together we’ll identify and process the stages of forgiveness and healing. Along the way, you’ll learn strategies you can use in your personal and/or professional life to avoid or resolve hurtful situations.

Sandy Hoenig has been leading workshops, retreats, and presentations on the joy of forgiveness for more than fifteen years. She offers special insight from her personal experiences and her extensive background in teaching and school counseling. A nationally certified counselor and conflict resolution facilitator, she holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Drake University. She lives in Winterset, Iowa with her husband, Rick.
