Healing Relationships Through Art, Love, & Ritual

Thursday, October 15, 6:00 – 7:30 pm CT
Virtual via Zoom

We heal relationships through art, love, and deep silence. Otto Rank calls this mystical union. In our quest for community and communication, through ritual we gather to give thanks, grieve, and celebrate our sacred existence. Building on his own insights and other philosophers, Matthew Fox will lead us on a journey of transformative nonviolence.

Rev. Matthew Fox is an author, theologian, and activist priest. He has been calling people of spirit and conscience into the Creation Spirituality lineage for over 50 years. His 39 books, lectures, retreats, and innovative education models have ignited an international movement to awaken people to be mystics, prophets, and contemplative activists who honor and defend Earth and work for justice. Today Matthew is an Episcopal priest after having been expelled from the Dominican Order, to which he belonged for 34 years, by Cardinal Ratzinger for 1) being a “feminist theologian,” and 2) “calling God ‘Mother,’” and 3) “working too closely with Native Americans.” He tries his best to wear these badges of honor with humility.
