Saturday, March 29, 2:00 - 3:00 pm
Virtual via Zoom
This session will include an overview of the importance to Native Americans of blankets, their design, color combinations, and the history of how fabric came to tribal women. There will be time for discussion and questions.
April Martin, Director of The Wild Rose Center in Busby, MT, is a firm believer in the power of women and community! She leads programming aimed to inspire and support all on this journey called life. Raised on her tribal homelands in southeast Montana, where she now raises fat and happy cows, she also acts as an ambassador of Native culture. There is no question she won’t attempt to find an answer for.
$5 per person; please register online at shalomretreats.org or by calling 563.582.3592 by Friday, March 28.
