Let’s celebrate the beauty of life and the power of sound with a drum circle!
The beating of a drum is said to improve people’s moods, restore balance, promote healing, and connect us with our ancestors through the heartbeat of Mother Earth. For centuries, humans have revered the rhythmic tradition of the drum circle as a way to connect with nature, others, and themselves. More than just a musical endeavor, drum circles can foster community and forge deep connections.
No musical experience is necessary. Some drums will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have one. All ages are welcome to this family-friendly event; an adult should accompany children.
Free-will donation; please RSVP online at shalomretreats.org or by calling 563.582.3592 by noon on Thursday, September 18.
