Lenten Series: Journeying with the Women through Lent with Sarah Kohles, OSF (Session 5) MarchMar 20 2024 07:00pm - 08:00pm

Virtual Programs

Wednesday, March 20, 7:00-8:00 pm
via Zoom

Women are less than ten percent of all the people in the Bible. What happens when we journey through Lent with the women who appear in the Scriptural readings of the season? What does Miriam have to teach us about our time in the desert? What insights about Jesus might the woman at the well share with us? What will we uncover as we read these women’s stories? These sessions are an invitation to place the women of the Lenten season at the center of our reflection and prayer and to allow them to shape our Lenten journey.

Sr. Sarah Kohles is an Assistant Professor of Theology at Briar Cliff University who has led many online programs at Shalom. She also edited and contributed to the recently published Creating Spaces for Women in the Catholic Church.

The cost is $5 per individual session; please register online at shalomretreats.org or by calling 563.582.3592 by the Tuesday before whichever session you wish to attend. The Zoom link will be sent at Noon on Wednesdays.
