Join award-winning author Daniel Cooperrider on an immersive journey towards re-wilding and re-earthing our spiritual awareness. Based on Cooperrider’s book Speak with the Earth, and It Will Teach You: A Field Guide to the Bible, this immersive Zoom program will attend to our relationship with the more-than-human world through connection with the elements of nature as they express themselves in our local landscapes, in sacred literature, and in our souls.
Daniel Cooperrider is a teacher and pastor in the United Church of Christ (UCC) and the Co-Pastor of Flicker Wild Church, a pop-up outdoor gathering. A graduate of the University of Chicago and the University of Chicago Divinity School, Daniel writes at the intersections of theology, environmental ethics, poetry, aesthetics, and climate justice. He and his family live on the edge of the driftless region in Madison, WI, an ancestral Ho-Chunk land, and in Spooner, WI, an Ojibwe land.
