Registration for All Shall Be Well: Julian of Norwich Series
$20.00
During times of crisis and chaos, the kind that a pandemic brings, we may call on our ancestors for their deep wisdom. Julian of Norwich, who lived her entire life during a pandemic, (1342–ca. 1429) is one of those ancestors we can look to today. Julian’s wisdom points to everyday practices, including soaking in the goodness found in nature, living in a posture of gratitude, and relating to God as a loving, compassionate mother. This is helpful as we seek to counter fear, depression, and grief caused by circumstances in which we feel powerless. Julian’s wisdom is a deep well for us as we seek to maintain spiritual and intellectual composure and an optimistic attitude that transcends circumstances.
